Georgetown After-School Program

We have found that group music programs are a wonderful opportunity for students to learn musical skills in a fun environment with their peers. They are more likely to stay committed to learning to play an instrument when they have others their age to motivate them!

Georgetown, Ky.

When we discovered that Scott County had no string music programs in any of the public schools, we set plans into motion to create one. Our after-school program, String Sounds, was created and we were so excited to begin classes January of 2018 with nine students. We meet on Monday afternoon/evenings at Northside Christian Church in Georgetown. We teach students from 1st grade all the way up to adults, from beginners to intermediate levels. The class times vary based on the age/grade level and skill level, so students are learning in a group setting with others their age. The class costs $72 per student per month. Feel free to contact us for more information by using the contact button and telling us you are interested in String Sounds of Georgetown, KY! We are currently open for enrollment!
